June and I have worked together in a number of different scenarios over the last six years. We have worked together as colleagues in Lloyds Banking Group and she has recently worked with me on an independent basis in Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank (CYBG).
June is a very experienced thought leader in the field of Human Resources, she is adept at driving people strategy to underpin the achievement of business strategy. In Lloyds she led the development of talent and succession management, leadership development and performance management during the integration of Lloyds TSB and HBOS. This required high levels of stakeholder management including at Group Executive Level; significant research and skilful presentation of options before moving into and leading implementation at scale. This was a hugely challenging time and June navigated this extremely well both with business and HR colleagues; building support, agreeing solutions and then implementing the agreed strategies across the business.
In CYBG, June has supported me in my role as Group HRD of a newly independent business with a huge amount to do in building the people framework for a UK plc. The specific assignment was to develop a new approach to Performance Management that would help embed the Vision and Values of the business and drive high levels of engagement and performance. June quickly built relationships with the key stakeholders both in HR and at Executive level. She undertook significant research to look at how we could transform PM and we are now at the stage of agreeing our strategy and plan to deliver.
June brings a clarity of thinking and a highly structured approach together with mature and sophisticated stakeholder management skills. Her support to CYBG has been invaluable in helping drive a key part of our people strategy in year one of a new business.Kate Guthrie, Group HR Director, CYBG

June is a very strong OE practitioner and coach. I have seen her operate successfully in a high-pressured banking environment, and in a smaller more reflective psychology practice. She has coached me through a number of career transitions, and I particularly value her grounded and pragmatic approach. Head of Talent, Financial Conduct Authority
June is the real deal. She is an expert in organisational development.
